What is River basin? The river basin is an area of land drained by a river and its tributaries. It encompasses the entire land surface dissected and drained by many streams and creeks that flow downhill into one another. Land and water are ecologically linked in a natural system of the river basin. What is command Area? The command area is the area around the dam/ project, where the area gets benefits from the dam, such as irrigation water, electricity, etc. It is an area which can be irrigated from a scheme and is fit for cultivation. In other words, it is the area around a dam which is under its command as an irrigation source.

TaxiBot:- Air India becomes first airline to use 'TaxiBot' on A320 aircraft with passengers onboard 'TaxiBot' is a robot-used aircraft tractor for taxiing an aircraft from parking bay to runway and vice versa. With 'TaxiBot' it is possible to tow an aircraft from the parking bay to the runway with its engines switched off. TaxiBot saves precious fuel and reduces engine wear and tear. The ignition will be turned only when the aircraft reaches the runway.Usage of 'TaxiBots' will significantly bring down the consumption of fuel by as much as 85 per cent used during taxiing of an aircraft.
